Can you tell me how that trip worked out and the pay you received.
I live close to Anderson , In and have been thinking about going there.
Would you have to live in Detroit or Laredo or would Anderson be ok ?
Can you tell me how your week went maybe 2 days getting there and 2 back , where did u stay overnight at.
We're you solo or team ?
What type of truck ?

Patriot , are you still with Carter Express ? If so how is it ? I am thinking about going to Sage school in Muncie , IN and trying to get on with them.
Do you know if they hire from Kokomo , IN area.
Not sure if they let you take truck home but very far to drive round trip everyday but if OTR maybe once a week making the trip wouldn't be too bad !
Any new info you have to share would be great !

About Carter Express. Do they hire Pennsylvania residents, and do they run into Arizona?

As I've mentioned elsewhere in this forum, I need to be able to take hometime in either location. Pennsylvania is my home state of residence, but my elderly mother lives in Sun City (Phoenix) AZ. The idea is to take hometime there as a way to visit, and check up on, her from time to time without taking multiple "vacations" and flying out there.

 

Thanks for the quick reply! I see that most of their terminals are in the middle part of the country, and I'm guessing that the bulk of their freight would be concentrated in that area. It might be difficult to get where I need (want) to be. My own company, based in the midwest, only goes as far as Denver. In a perfect world (I really like my company), I could stay with them and get out west.
