Cartersville March 5 2012

Well day is in the books lots of paperwork woke early couldnt sleep nerves was rattled very nice room Millis puts you in free breakfast in the lobby. The eggs tasted funny but i figure its the georgia chickens ..... lol Waited on the bus to arrive but had to drive to the terminal which was ok the instructer Mr.G was waiting there with free Coffee and Krispy Kreme doughnuts. Great class every time u needed a refill a coffee he would walk around with the pot and top you off like the huddle house and offer you a doughnut they really treat you good here i asked for real milk and he said they didnt have any and paused the class and ran down to the t/a to get me some. So so far its been a great class




..............................................None of this is true to protect the names of the innocent have been left out ......................lol cept the part the instructor is really funny and has a since of humor.

 

Day 2 is in the books Learned how to use a logbook and read a map. Word of advice if you think you can read a map you probably dont....... lol Watched a couple of instructional videos that was like watching paint dry. DID not have the eggs this morning skipped those and went to the waffle house. This place is really dusty so i would bring some allegry medicine with you. DO NOT PLAY WITH YOUR PHONE IN CLASS! If you do you will have to watch instructional videos the rest of the day and eat eggs from the holiday inn....

 

DAY 3 TAP TAP SHIFT WORDS OF ADVICE .....LOL If you have ever drove a manuel transmission your in luck its not the same ...lol The truck looks huge from the outside but driving it reminds you of driving your own vehicle kinda. Its really dusty here so deal with it other than that this place is pretty cool . Havent met a person that wasnt nice or laid back here at the yard or this whole town especially in the hotel adult drinking estlabishment..lol I like it so much here dont wanna even go home. JUST DONT EAT THE EGGS !

Day 4 in the booksDecided to try the eggs again this morning, still taste funny and paid for them later in the day ....lol. More classroom instruction and and videos. Drink lots of coffee to weather the videos they are a bit on the dry side..lol They also showed some of Baritones Famous You Tube Videos on the big screen, he is getting as popular as William Hung from American idol the guy who sang she bangs she bangs ..LOL I met Baritone today nice guy so whoever will get him as a trainer you will be lucky. Supposed to drive tommorow so if you are anywhere near Cartersville Georgia STAY OFF THE ROADS
