I did the same thing. It gets the antenna up high enough that it doesn't have issues with the cab affecting swr.rabbiporkchop Thanks this.

How does yours work?

Mine works great. Although I actually use it for a vhf/uhf antenna. I've found that I could get better swr on the cb by removing the fm splitter and only using the drivers side factory mount for my cb.

Thought it was impossible to have the same swr all across all 40..... -
Not understanding this comment. There's no mention of it being the same, just better.
