    Your guess is as good as mine but i was thinkin some spray in insulation..You know the stuff in a can that expands..Ex if you spray it an inch thick it will expand 4"..Just guessing..

    The Peterbilt boys always used to say a Western Star was just a generic Freightliner......I don't know, I never drove one that I can remember.:cool:

    NOTHIN LIME A STAR CAR!! Always had good reception with the last ws i drove..This cascadia is crap..

    I put my mirror perch mount on the mirror on top of the passenger door to get it up higher since I never use that door. Works good

    99% of the time it is a combination of both. How far one station is able to be heard is determined by two things. the efficiency of the transmitting station and the receiver sensitivity of the receiving station.

    I dont understand how it makes any gain on the right side over the left..Only thing i know that makes the diff is the height of the load coil..Im missing something somewhere then..

    So let's see some pics.......and why do you have to drill holes on one side and not the other?

    Unless you have a special "never get off the interstate" run, an antenna on the right never lasts as long as one on the left.
