The older gentleman is still working there by himself, he is in a little room in the back of the wooden building that used to be a bar and grill ( across from the TA) next to where Cobra works ( window tint guy). All he is doing is P&T ( with meter only) and repairs he is not selling anything.

Find some skip shooter or firesticks with the tuneable tip...Measure from the ground up to mirror mount and subtract that from 13'6" and that will give you the max you can go in ant choice..Lets say its 5 ft skip shooter..The coild will be taller than a bigger higher wind drag 10k or monkey made...You will have better results with the coil higher..Now sometimes you may need to extend the tuneable tip of said ant....For the fire stick you may have to just buy a longer bolt matching the thread of the original..If its a skip shooter then a longer tip about same diameter as the nail in it....Thats what i end up doin with my 7ft on my cascadia..
Dont get me wrong i love my 10k but its not the answer for the cascadia...On a kw well you make your own decision but i hate those crappy francis...

They named those antennas backwards the basic Francis looks like nothing more than a stick.

I believe on the package the Francis is called the Hot Rod! Now back in the day many years before I started driving in '97 Ive been told the majority of supertruckers used the Francis as their primary antenna and run all kinds of juice through them, oldtimers have nothing but praise for the old Francis, cant say that about the new ones.
