You miss those $700 road service calls?

Life on the road is MUCH easier with something designed for vacation travel. The competitors to this brand were better built and less expensive to buy today as used . Need less work to update. Tow just as well.

Of course, if you don’t go anywhere — just a few places — the other type trailer designs are okay (even as bad as they are to tow; 5’ers included). 80k lifespan versus 250k before rebuild (life indefinite).

Once sited near Rocky Mountain National Park it’s far easier to day trip Colorado in a comfortable car.

And, anyone says they aren’t big enough hasn’t traveled enough to know what is or isn’t worth taking. Self-containment is what matters most.

Having travelled most all of Canada, Mexico and the USA starting more than fifty years ago this way I KNOW that no farm truck & hay wagon compares.

Too much work at the wheel, and too much maintenance & repairs. Far higher expense per mile AND higher accident risk every mile.

    I’ll say no more here.

I had two road calls in 30 years, only one of which involved a tow (rod broke).

Is there any way to incorporate the lexan brace without the vise grips?

The 3/4 inch piece (3 foot precut) of pvc from Lowe’s or Home Depot is the cheapest easiest fix. Paint it black and slip it over the antenna, you’re done.

Probably, but I slip seated all the time and never explored another option. I would probably try the pvc option now if I was still truckin’.

Where do I purchase the 102" whip without a threaded base? And where do I buy the 10" riser?

The 10" shaft used for a Wilson Trucker 2000 works perfectly.
