I, Penske, and my boss thank you very much! I left the truck after pulling on the sun-glass holder. The sun-glass pocket came off but there was no way to fit the radio in that itty-bitty hole. I was convinced the centre glove box compartment needed to come out, or I drill into the plastic for overhead mount. My boss called Penske, told them my plans... He said WHOA Whoa whoa! STOP!!!
The guy on phone; was 15mins away, and took him 5 mins to show up, with a removed piece in hand to demonstrate how it works. Penske impressed me today! :)

Now if I could only get them to route my coax and power I'd be set.

use the 40 inch tall poll mount.got mine thru Effingham cb think a1 telecom makes it. I use a stainless steel mount k40 makes it ta loves sell them .turn the mount one side normal the other vertical. slide the mount down the pole to so your antenna and stinger are not over 13'6". I use a predator stud. I run r g 213 it's 18ft of coaxial. I run it thru the hole on drivers side over the top of the plastic air breather crap down thru the passenger side firewall hole into the the truck up to the radio.... my swrs are 1:1 to 1:2. I run a magnum 350 watt radio that drives a straight 8 pill in a pos cascadia 2 ground straps one on each door.... door to frame

cb shop in Effingham sells them. when he has them. they are by far the very best mount for the pos cascadias. no reflection nothing for them to reflect off of. they put your antenna up above the roofline..............

it's a very stable mount. stainless steel. not cheap aluminum. I've got 2 of them .they are worth the $$$ you pay for them. I never liked the cheap aluminum Wilson mirror mounts.buying the stainless steel mirror mount is the way too go if your going that route.

they say high grade aluminum. the very top piece is definitely aluminum..... but they are a solid mount. best mount I've found for the wonderful cascadias....

Put it straight up. Everything above the door is fiberglass, no need to lean it when it's up that high.
