Hell rabbi.I could get used to it like that all the time...
Thought i had a major yippiiiii moment the other day..
Hauled out my duel coiled 10k put a short shaft on it and tuned..Freaked when i saw 27 db reflected #...After a few more trials and tuned it more evenly and then reading..I discovered the reflected db # is just another way of showing the same as swr..Bummer for me..Thought i solved the cascadia antenna issuebored silly and rabbiporkchop Thank this. -
Need 81 inch antenna for that truck.
Good place to start -
already am .....rabbiporkchop Thanks this.
-
To get 81" on the truck ill need a longer antenna(wanna try a 6'-7' skip shooter)and change my mount..I got two of them..rabbiporkchop Thanks this.
-
Go with the 7ft. It will work well for you.rabbiporkchop and bored silly Thank this.
-
Yeah if i ever find a skip shooter or fs that long..hard to find them where i travel..Not that i know alot of cb shops..Dont trustem for the most part.
-
You don't need to trust them to purchase a new item just don't let them work on your equipmentToyman, bored silly and slim6596 Thank this.
-
with that 40" mount I'd try a 5ft. firestik. straight up no tilt...see what a top loaded antenna can do for you...
-
I tried a 5 fs footer on my set up now, wasnt long enough to tune..I needed a longer bolt up top to tune in..
