I have a cpl around that have the teeth for better grip..

 

So up is not grounded but downward is grounded to plate and plate is not grounded to truck..
Kinda lost as to why ill have to peel back plastic houseing of coax to ground the downward ant with coax shielding based on the diagram..

 

Was it you who said the static stops when your foot is on the brakes slowin down???
Guess i have been running with anl/squelch on and didnt notice that...Today i had no squelch/anl on and could hear the diff....What did you do to solve this..Its a good bit quieter on the brakes..

 

Based on that,me adding a mount to my 40"shaft to aim another ant downward aint gonna work..####....

 

Not buyin any ant other than the 7footer..Just playin with what i got to see..hhhhmmmm wonder if anything would change if i mounted a downward ant near the base of my predator thats at the top of the 40" mount...Again just thinkin of stuff..

 

It wasn't me, but that has something to do with the type of lube in the hubs. Add a static strap and see what that does.
