Well why do i get almost a perfect tune with the tall mount and my 10k..
The 5ft should to short and i forget what the deal is on the 7ft..

 

False sense of security. Ignore that. You already know it doesn't work. Why pursue it further?

I told you the same thing but you didn't want to hear it.

 

That 40" mast is useless the way you are using it, but would be great for elevating a dipole.

 

No its not that at all..I dont have anything else to fall back on till i get more time to try more thing..
Now as i said if i get a better result with the tall mount than i do with the dipole ifea or the 7ft,im gonna use that till i can try again..
So with my 5 ft not able to tune (some where down 25,500 i think) what else do i do..
I can install a 100 or more ground straps but i remember reading it doesnt replace the ground plain...

The wilson mount i have doesnt do nothing at all..Its almost as if its grounding out any results the aa shows..
So that mount is no good..
When i get a decient resonance # and resostance is in the single digits and swr is high..Tells me the mount is no good..

As for kobg site,even though its save on my.pc at home i totally blanked out to look it over again..

 

hes getting away with a friggin 22" tall shaft on that predator with the 40" tall pole mount. his best results always come with that setup range wise.... outta tell ya something but it obviously doesn't.... I'm really bored silly and tired of hearing about this dip pole b.s. he's got the 20 degree tilt I can see that working--- helping but anymore tilt than that I'm not seeing any justification for it......

 

that usually always depends on the radio on the other end and antenna their using and many many other factors... i mostly talk distance big radio to big radio like my magnum to a galaxy 98vhp or similar radio. range average 11 up to 20 miles

 

and that randomly happens mostly at night early morning hours . when only the vampires such as myself are out here working.....ya want me to record it for ya. lol just screwing with ya. my elevator has never gone all the way to the top floor..... don't get all worked up by what I said rabbi do what you do !!!!!!

 

I'm running my 4600 turbo and the more I'm running it the more I like it. it gets the job done .........
