without being able to see the truck firsthand it seems like the easiest thing to do for someone who's incapable of getting an antenna to work properly.. it's not something I would normally do but for a Troublesome Truck that has multiple issues it's a quick and easy fix even if it's only a Band-Aid
Cascadia dipole?

I still don't get what he has to do with the problems with dipoles. AM I missing something that has to do with him controlling RF?
-
he's the one Craig that was told by rabbi he should try using a dip-pole on his trk. that started this whole fiasco quite awhile back !!!
-
yeah well he's a stubborn ka-nook how much effort ya think he's gonna put in before he's pissed off and gives up........or anybody else for that matter.
-
In general it's not something you want to do on a tractor trailer but for people who are incapable of building an antenna system for their truck it's a quick idiot proof solution for people who don't know what they're doing
-
That's the whole point of the dipole. It's for people who have given up using conventional methods and just want a quick 5-minute solution to the problem
-
well never-ready and his deal looked like just a upside down antenna attached to the mirror mount bracket attached to nothing... now your talking about the rear fairing.... good luck accomplishing anything on a trk. that does have many issues ya definitely said a mouthful when you said that
-
He already said he didn't want to do the bracket on the back of the cab so that's a moot point. Doing the same thing that never ready did takes 5 minutes to do and it's guaranteed to work
-
guess its not happening on his truck then.....
-
OK I looked through all my material on dipoles and I didn't see a reference of craig in it and what he has to do with this issue of grounding and spacing.
