Whenever the transmission is in Ecoast it has to try several times to put it back into a gear(when I press the brakes or accelerate)whether it be 12th or 11th gear. ( normal upshifting and downshifting is fine)
Same thing happens when I turn the engine brake on and it tries to downshift the gear but it won't without several tries.
So far I have changed the clutch, TCM , Slipt Pin, fly wheel, actuator and counter shaft clutch. We have reprogrammed it several times to recalibrate it.
Any idea at this point what should I do except changing the whole Transmission.
Thanks,
Sunny

I am just wondering how much have you spent on repairs? I mean changing the TCM , Slipt Pin, fly wheel, actuator, counter shaft clutch and for reprogramming , calibration.
AlexD13 Thanks this. -
How this is allowed in a AMT by law is beyond me!!
This is the exact reason it will cost people their lives when it can't find a gear on a large downgrade !! -
I have spent a lot on it....I'm gonna have to replace the transmission.

And I thought I would get a reasonable solution here.
Thanks -
Does it behave any better after you reprogram it? I mean for a short time afterwards?
I drove a tuck that did that. It was from Omnitracs messing things up. I would unplug the data connection or the power from the QC black box and the problem would go away... Something wasn't right. -
I switched the it with another truck and it did the same to the other truck. So it's confirmed now that it's the transmission itself.
