Ok I have a cheap cb uniden pr0505xl. Hooked up to a 2014 freightliner midroof cascadia. It seems not to work real well. It's good enough for chemical plants. But I'm wondering if it can be made better. Is it the antenna? The $40 radio? A lack cb probiotics for a healthy digestive system to process radio waves?

Those internal antennas aren’t much better than a dummy load.

You can get an external antenna mount for a 2014 Cascadia mirror at almost any truck stop. That with a good antenna will make a huge difference.

    77fib77 Thanks this.

Ok I will do that. How do you run the coax? Is it in the mirror already? Probably wishful thinking.
