CSA 2010 is a safety rating system for carriers that is replacing the current Safestat system. There's way too much to it to sum up here, google it, the FMCSA has a website dedicated to it, or you can search here for information too.
Is that mpg off the computer or pump to pump hand calculated? My 2006 shows mpg regularly in the low 8's, but actual pump to pump is closer to mid 7's.
I checked the first 2 tanks pump to pump and it was actually a little more (2 tenths) than the gauge in the dash, suprised it was accurate... really happy with the mpg.. $$$$$$$$$$$$$$ in my pocket is awesome! didn't make 9 on the last trip, the airline took care of that, but very high 8's for sure..
Haven't updated this in a while but here goes, New Cascadia is still working well, have had some small issues, door adjustment being the worst and yet unresolved one, fuel mileage still great, on winter fuel still averaging over 7 pump to pump which is awesome compared to the 5.3 my classic got. $$$ cha ching.. engine does have a surging problem that only happens on the hwy occasionally, finally got it on video with my phone what is happening with the boost gauge, (it was not throwing codes so they couldn't really guess what it was), tho after showing the mechanic the video he thinks he knows what it is. I REALLY miss the long wheelbase and once and a while when I see a Lonestar wish I had one, (but thats the little head thinkin for the big head) but so far pretty happy most days..
Here is a list of things that go DOWN In VALUE once you sign on the dotted line: The Harley that's in the garage The Wife that was doing so much before you married her The SUV that you bought said wife The Bass fishing boat that you bought to get away from the wife The four wheeler that you bought to hang out with your buddies The mobile home that you signed up for for 15+ years Your pickup truck that you had to have to pull the boat The recliner that you bought to relax in from the wifes nagging The Peterbilt that you thought you had to have to be the big guy on the block The Kenworth that you thought you had to have cause everybody else has a Pete So my point is, if it's material then it goes down in value anyway. However the ONLY thing that does maintain value is a House! So other than that it'll go down anyway.... and for the Pete/KW lovers.... Yes, your trucks do hold value longer/better than a Freightliner. I personally bought a used freightshaker with a big engine that passes a lot of other petes/kw's on the highway and wrote a check for it and spent the other 60k remodeling/adding onto my house. Lmbo
So a house is the only thing that maintains it's value? Have you seen the housing market in the last few years? So you pass Pete's and KW's... so what? Does anybody really keep score? Do you really think guys who who PACCAR products bought them to show off? I bought mine because it was a smart business decision. BTW...my 379 has a 435 CAT... I get passed by a lot of Volvo's and FL's and could care less.
