Cascadia transmission issue

    Hey guys I got 2014 freightliner Cascadia DT 12 transmission… If the truck sits for 36 hours plus I cannot put into gear right away… I move the gear selector to drive or reverse they just beeps at me and doesn’t do anything… Then it either takes a while to warm up and then it goes into gear or sometimes when I restart the engine it goes into gear… Any ideas?

    dt 12 is an automated transmission. changes gears pneumatically. if system air pressure isnt high enough would explain why it wont shift at first but after a while it does. check system pressure next time it happens.

    Transmission may not shift.

    Mine tells me that transmission air is low and shows a gear symbol on the screen. These auto trannys are junk . when it gets cold outside mine wont shift into 8th gear first thing in the morning , it takes 3 tries for it to finally get it in . all kinds of quirks with these things
