Every response to this makes me more confused. Glad I have a Prepass nowadays. It might help a little.

WY scales are easy... They are called a "Port of Entry" for a reason, you scale when enterimg the state... If you have not crossed a scale since entering the state, stop.
If your load changed (picked up or delivered) inside WY, stop.
If you see signage directing trucks to scale, stop.
Otherwise, hammer down.JolliRoger, superdutyfan, not4hire and 1 other person Thank this. -

One other thing to note about Wyoming that is different from other states is in regards to Oversized loads. Unless you are doing what they call Super-sized loads (Not sure what size constitutes that), the way you get a permit in Wyoming is at the Port of Entry. What you do is call the Port of Entry closest to where you are entering the state or picking up the load and get a pre-clearance number. You then go to the Port where they will help you plan your route and issue the permit. One exception to this besides the Super-Sized loads that I know of is if you are travelling the 20 miles of Highway 212 that runs through Wyoming between South Dakota and Montana they will issue a permit by email since there is not a Port on that stretch.
