Speaking of spinning the starter till she built pressure been jammin for years my truck started soon as you hit the button. I left the cb and stereo on for a week last year gone from truck. Come back home it was stone dead I just hooked cables to it to start it. I know low voltage causes bad times but didn't have my head and tried it a time or two. I knew some thing happened long story short I have to have an override button now till it builds pressure. Got any thoughts I haven't messed with it at all cause the button is live able. I do know that temp and oil will still shut it down. I checked the power and grounds coming in and out of the kysor box. The load wire to solenoid doesn't power up till oil pressure is about 5 psi.

You got one of them more technologically advanced kysor sds than I was talking about. If you got power to pin#1 and ground to pin#4 on your module with ignition on, then make sure pin#2 gets a hit from the starter switch. Pin #1 should be fused and will go through module to pin #3 for app. 30 seconds, then drop out the power to shutdown relay. Meanwhile pressurestat and alarmstat circuits will (when oil pressure comes up) send power to solenoid if working correctly. Which in your case they must be. My guess would be if you got power with ignition on-engine off on pin#1 of module and your grounds are good, along with signal from start switch, the low voltage messed up your module. I forgot to mention that wiring to or bad shutdown relay would cause your problem, also.

OK just got back after a short little 300 mile trip today and I have a couple of new A/C questions.

    1. As you no doubt know, the A/C condenser coil thing is located inside the cab on the passenger side under the glove box. Well that thing is dripping water all over the floor and getting everything soaked. Is there supposed to be a means of that water getting to the outside like a hose or something?

    2. What tells the A/C compressor to turn on? I would expect it gets a signal from a temp sensor located inside the cab but fir some reason I don't think that's how it works is it? Right now it seems to be wired into the engine fan so when I turn the engine fan on manual the A/C comes on LOL.

Yes you should have a drain hose straight out bottom of condenser box. Also there is a thermostat in the condenser that will activate compressor. Not sure what type of truck or year but you should have the turn style thermostat switch. Also have a trinary switch out on drier that will activate fan and cancel clutch if pressure is too high.

Mine has a tube to drain the box. I will get a pic and post in the daylight. The on off switch under blower motor fan speed switch sends power to temp probe which then sends power thru the high and low safety switches to a/c clutch. Look for your prob in high pressure switch it controls the on off of eng fan with a/c on

Found the drain tube and blew it out. As for the A/C temp sensor....hahaha I wondered what that little dial was for on beside the ash tray. Thanks!

Farther you turn the colder it gets. It will regulate for the most part. I recommend shut off valves on heater core, there is a valve under box that's supposed to stop flow of antifreeze, runs off heat/cool slide switch on panel. Usually bypasses anyways unless it's new and won't let your truck cool.
