    By the way, seeing as how you haven't driven it with the retarder working yet, on longer grades you might get in the habit of turning the fan on. It will help keep your engine oil cooler as well as help a little bit slowing you down. You'll also learn right away that they are much more effective at higher RPM.

    Sure is. From spending 6 out of 12 hours driving to/from jobs to being on my feet, balls to the wall for 12 hours really takes some getting used to.

    We're on a blended rate so OT is only paid after 11.5 hours. We do 84 hours in 7 days and then 7 off.
