Sorry I’m new at this but this is the truck I put the wire on myself from the relay to the solenoid works like a charm !!

Did a lot of work. More than one thing was wrong, for example the grounding connections became loose, leading, I think, to more problems down the line. In the end we also found out that the starter was worn out, the brushes were used up and the copper contact washer was burned up. Got a new starter. Also used copper grease everywhere.
