I’m currently having a similar issue. Truck was stuttering when going uphill. But straight flats it was fine. So I figured fuel filter. $750 later for a mobile mechanic and now it’s ten times worse. Now it won’t go past 20 miles per hour. Like it’s not getting fuel. I’m in kremmling colorado and there’s no mechanic shops here and the only mechanic I found in silverthorn said that all he would do is change the fuel filter. Some mechanic. So I’m stuck, late with my load, and no clue what to do. I also have a c-13. 2006 kenworth t800. I always take it to get worked on at the Kenworth dealer and they say it’s one of the best engines they’ve seen. So I’m confused.

How old are your fuel lines ?
Fuel Tee block ? -
I know one fuel line was replaced a year ago. As for the fuel tee block I don’t even know where that is?
-
Fuel lines from tank run into it with one line to pump.
Usually right above sleeper where it meets the cab in the center.Loyal86 Thanks this. -
Multiple tests ran and they can’t find the issue. Fuel pressure a little lower than normal but ok. Disconnected fuel line from filter and placed in fuel can to test fuel pressure at pump. No codes

Might be sucking air on one of the fuel lines. Did they run a test to see if it sucking air? Make sure fuel filter is tight.

Turn out you’re right. Fuel lines were bad. Thanks.
