    Sorry just now seeing this but having found out any I’m just going to take to shop next week to see if was head gasket or if I need and inframe... and what do you think parts from Highway Heavy Truck Parts for engine that’s made to OE specifications?

    Plan anywhere from 15 to 20k for a PAI gold kit inframe. 15K is on the lower side with a reman head. And that price is accurate if you have your own local mechanic do it. Any kind of dealer doing the work and your looking at 20k easy. Take $2500 off that price if your head isnt cracked, which it probly will be if its a head gasket.

    If you got that much smoke. You can probably plan on piston kit at the least.

    What I did was route a hose to the back end of the truck. However. Expect to attract unwanted attention.
