lookin' for some clarification on fuel temp wire: I have been using the 100 ohm resistor for ever, just got a bit curious about the resistance at the sensor, stone cold it is about 890, and smokin' hot it is around 550, so I was just wondering how the 100ohm tells the computer the fuel is cold? as the resistance seems to go down as the temp. goes up wouldn't something like 800 be better?

It tells the computer the fuel is hot and therefore less dense so in turn the computer compensates and increses the duration of the injection. So actualy the hotter the fuel in your tanks the less power gain from the temp sensor hack and the colder the fuel more. 150ohm i found works the best it tells the computer fuel is around 160 and max correction temp is 168 I think.

After getting edu - micated about ACERTs in this forum I am ready to declare the ACERTs Suck Opinion a myth. I was ready to trade or scrap mine until some of the cheeeper options of the wisdom that is freely shared here were applied to mine. For a few hundred bucks I picked up over a mile to the gallon and got a much more drivable truck. Can't wait to earn enough money to invest into the more expensive upgrades that will actually pay for themselves over time, like the 725HP ECM from PDI...

Changed the restrictive catalytic mufflers to the cheapest Donaldsons and cut out the lower baffles with an air grinder, changed the 90GPH fuel filter head to a 120GPH and started usung an FS1212 fuel filter, Ebay fuel temp wire, fixed a leak in the air to air.
