Hi, original 5ek 475 hp rebuilt w larger inj 10r 8502. Had my ecm go out and the file a guy put on it is 6TS 14926 set at 600hp. Just put a zeki ( borg warner identical) 78 mm 1.32 ar from momentum worx. Ive also heard of other files (6ds set at 601 hp) so just not sure my file is best? How much diff there is in files? Thanks

550hp 1850 brake saver file. Had my 5ek flashed with this tune and it is day and night. Dont know about that zeki turbo but seems to be borg warner stage 1 specs. Sounds like you got the right hard parts

Thank you roger, just to clarify, the 6ts file i mention is the 550 hp brakesaver file you mention you like? The 78mm 1.32 ar is working out great. Onward and upward.

    Roger McG Thanks this.

The 5DS(601 hp) with 58’s will give you a grin from ear to ear. Very fun to drive. I ran that file on my 5EK with the BW stage 1.

Is that file modified in any way? Or is it just the 1708239 file with the FLT/FLS settings tweaked?

    Diesel Dave Thanks this.

No, it wasn’t modified. But it called for 57’s for injectors and I had 58’s, that gave it more fuel, 65/-19 on the fls/fts

Have you ever dynoed the truck with that setup?

    Diesel Dave Thanks this.

No. If I was to guess, it was probably putting around 750 to the ground. I eventually tuned it down to a 1LW file 550 Brakesaver file with the same FLS/FTS which also call for 57’s but I had the 58’s. The reason for the detune slightly was because I had to install the aftermarket DPF and the system was only allowed certain amount of smoke opacity in order to function properly. But it still ran great. I sold that truck to @staceydude. I don’t know what his has done to it since then. I live in the wonderful state of COMMIEFORNIA, so you can figure why I had to let it go.

Thanks for sharing. I run the same exact file with trim codes 62 and -19. I dynoed 764 to the wheels with a 80mm 1.42 and 58s. The truck runs so ridiculously well! It's crazy how just running bigger injectors moved the power up a whopping 300hp. So even with the 550 file you're still getting around 700 to the wheels.

I’ve left it at the file you had in it @Diesel Dave. I love how it runs with it as it is. It will get up and boogie but not crazy.
