I think I have a fried C15 ACERT SDP ECM. Engine just died. No com with scantool no com with ABS or BCM to ECM. Conector at ECM has proper voltages. Where can I get this repaired. Or should I?

Last year when my ecm went out I brought it to Cat (just the ecm) and they plug directly into it. They said it was fried and couldn't even communicate with it to copy the file. They wanted to do this to rule out any possible problems with the data link connector in the truck.
Just so you know, if you go to cat and they can communicate with your ecm to copy the file. You will not get it back. Buy law every truck that comes in will get the latest Low Nox File.Iamoverit Thanks this. -
If you have power at the comm pin in the plug then I'd say the ECM is gone. If you're able to load your own files I'd just buy a used replacement. By the time you pay CAT to diagnose it you'll be almost able to buy another one. Plus, the emissions file CAT is legally required to load will cost you a fortune in lost MPG over time.
