cat filter base

I have a 1R-0749 Fuel filter now. It is on the motor. I also have the sep on the frame that has the metal cartridge in it. Which will I be replacing?

 

1R-0749 stays. screen/metal type F/W sep usually flow really well. call mfg and get specs. why do you think you need to change your current set up ?

 

My truck came from factory with a Racor 600 series filter as primary filter on frame. What is everyones thought on this filter?

 

Had racor on 98 550 cat loved it but keep extra filter not on places have them on hand

Found this recently. Will try them when i use what i have already. And yes, i always carry an extra with me, 2 during winter months...

I recently bought an old style metal filter with the mesh screen with the 3/4 npt. Part # 2w6072. Does anyone know the gph?
