So you can't just set both to maximum, 127/127, and get maximal effect, maybe that 20 hp? I was just thinking if we can try it in 630 hp C-18s, drivers say they get passed by 610 Volvos and 620 Scanias.

I think 0/0 is no change to the fuel map thats in the flash file. 0,0 turns up a lot in the fuel settings regardless of hp or serial number. Thats why all field uprate file says to set them to 0/0.

Not to my knowledge, but I've never had a chance to try those numbers on a dyno. I know as horsepower rises with fuel settings the numbers dont follow any order. also the difference between the best and worst fuel settings for a C15,16,18 is at least 100hp, maybe more (I obviously have never tried every combination), but remember that fuel settings can reduce power as well as add it. I know a C15 with the right numbers will go over 520rwhp with the fan on.

Depends on your flash file and serial number. Also you cant just go and change the FLS and FTS, you need a factory password and Cat wont give you one unless you are putting in fuel settings that came out factory for that engine.

When I worked at Cat I had a 2ws 550 on the dyno, Using the Cat system and the numbers the Cat calculator gave me I got 549 to the wheels and 1600 rpm. I also found that 0/0 in some files gave me 1 gallon over spec in fuel flow, good for a good 35 hp. I have had to turn down alot of rerates on the dyno to get the fuel flow in spec. Did not want to but required to keep my job back then.
