Decking the block would move the piston up, increasing compression. One guy on here suggested a thicker head gasket. Never tried this so I would not know.

Are you at Hunter Peterbilt in Erie,Pa? If not get there and have Randy(only Randy) look at it he is one of the best Cat men in a factory shop you'll find. If you can't get there try to call him he'll help all he can.

no im not at hunter peterbilt i can't just take it to any cat shop they might not like my setup i do have a haney tune on my ecm does any body have a part # for a thicker headgasket if they even make one

I have herd of thinner and thicker spacer plates but not head gaskets.

You need to counter bore your cylinders and then shim them back up.
Probably worth buying new liners too. -
maybe i should just slap the head back on this thing and send it packin only has 70000 on a out of frame

no they shaved the deck it ran about 50000 the blew the head so then they shaved the head ran another 20000 blew out the back this time cant win must be the worst 6nz of all times
