Cat injector cup reseal

    On a 3406E 6TS 97 vintage resealing the injector cups I have all new cups and O rings. In the instructions it stated put a small amount of Cat brand sealer around the bottom lip were it seats in head not included in kit. Use a anaerobic or ??

    Something like a Loctite 620, must be high temp for obvious reasons.

    Loctite 620 is the Cat brand sealer that they're talking about. Here's a handy Loctite selector chart that some might find useful. Page 46 has the Cat # to Locktite # cross-reference.

    What I did is google 4C-9506 (Cat part # for Loctite 620) and injector it pulled up a doc on Cat head assembly 3pg lists coat six injector cup bottoms and install.
