Lenny, once again you have the answer. Where are dyno results proving friends work? Where are the satisfied customers of this injector guru? You blow alot of smoke in the forum but never have any proof or evidence to back up your mouth.
Far Call has shown his ability with the real product. He didnt feel the need to BS his way through. He went and did it with out braggin and patting himself on the back.
As a sideline observer, Far Call strikes me as a gentleman that takes pride in doing impeccable work, a class act.

Eric..........you have misinterpreted what I said. I told you that Greg wants new part number injectors, but I never said they had to be new out of the CAT box. I've also told a few others this and explained that you need to find used injectors that are only new part numbers. The problem is that you can't find the proper part number injectors used very easily. If you want the flow of a 57 injector.......than you have to find a used 211-3023 injector for Greg to work on it. If you want the flow of a 58 than you need a used 211-3024. If you can not find these anywhere than you have to buy newer part number injectors 229-5919, 232-1199, 249-0709, 239-4909, 244-7702, 249-0702 to have the correct internal parts that Greg will require to rebuild them. Otherwise it isn't worth the effort. But in using any of these newer part numbers for an injector core, the tip will not match for the 211-3023 or 211-3024 injector. So now you have added the additional costs of changing the tips and the required machining to get the needle to seal properly. I have sent injectors over twice for Greg to do for others. The one gentleman sent 8, 229-5919 and 1 211-3023 if my memory is correct. Everyone of them was a used, failed injector that he bought from a small independent shop. He paid roughly $100 a piece for the cores in cash to the shop owner, to help fund the shop owners fishing trip and vacation. The tips needed to be changed to match the 6NZ and earlier piston crown design, but that isn't a problem, it just costs more to do it. I never meant for anybody to think that Greg said he would only work on brand new CAT injectors, because that isn't what I meant. Also any of the injectors out of any type of equipment.........bulldozer, haul truck, pan. If it has a C-15, C-18 or even some of the larger engines, but utilizes the same injector body, than it will work also. Plan on changing the tips though. They have to have the first three digits of the part number start with 211 or higher

I never lied to you about what can or cannot be used to do this.

Undoubtedly a miss understanding as Kurt has NEVER sent me a NEW injector and why would he? I will only strip it to pieces to make it work as it should.
Here are some of the C15 injector numbers and as you can see CAT changed them many times for many reasons.
    2113023, 10R8501, 10R0957, 0R9257, 1913003, 1189030, 1188010, 1170482, 1092021, 1034562, 1022014, 6I3887

Some people pick up the old type and really they are not good for a lot. many reasons why as you can imagine so its always best to work with the newer Types with later part numbers.

Any of the first 4 are workable but preferably the 2113023 regardless of how many miles on them.

Many options and ways of using internal parts in the injector bodies to achieve the desired results, as proven in the last few weeks by two clever people at opposite ends of the world.
