My MBN was getting 5.7 when it was flashed to 525hp. After replacing a cracked head I decided to cut it down to the original 475 tune and now I do good to get 5.3 sometimes I get as bad as 4.8 needless to say I'm ready to get it turned back up again. Other than the lousy mileage my engine is ticking along just fine, the oil samples always come back good, so I'm not inclined to go to the expense of cam and injector upgrades. Was reading about the wiring trick to make your MBN think the fuel is cooler and remembered a simple modification I'd heard from a mechanic about running your fuel through a transmission cooler to actually get the fuel temp down. Can anybody on here back that up? What's it good for a tenth or two maybe?

There are threads here that will explain "unbridging" your motor. Some consider the MBN to be the worst Cat put out in recent history in stock form but with some mods is as good as any.

Not sure if it's been mentioned, you say you like to run right at 65mph and that no way will you run 55, but dropping to 63,62... might help your quest for MPG's. From what cat owners have told me it's a sweet dot, not a sweet spot. If you do a quick calc the reduced speed really adds very little time over the course of the day.

I'd like to buy a good used wing......

I have a BXS ACERT and I've seen no difference with or without my Ebay fuel temp wire.
