Go to Radio Shack. Part # 271-1109. 150-Ohm Resistors 1/2 watt. Pkg of 5 for $.99. Thats right 99 cents for five resistors. Put some heat shrink on it for protection. Put a spade connection on each end. Bend it into a horseshoe and plug it in. Very simple and it works.

Do a search for "Need Wiring diagram for C15 Fuel and Boost Mod".
Here you will find all the specs & pics for these 2 mods. My partner did it to our W9, I did see more boost with the fuel temp mod, runs better, mpg's up .2 or so.
Also did the boost wire as you'll see, got no increase in mpg with that, and honestly, unless you wanna smoke someone out behind you (at a stop light) really not worth the hassle, it doesn't do much other than plug up the mufflers-which we still need to replace!

Tracking down the weird triangle connectors is harder. Radio Shack doesn't have those. Any idea where to get them?

    Same for the 3406E?

I did see an increase in smoke with the boost wire, but not very much. Certainly not enough to smoke anyone out.

The smoke is barely visible now when I accelerate, whereas before it was invisible.

I'm actually kind of disappointed. Had hoped it'd put on more of a show. :biggrin_25517:

Do a search for "deutsch connectors" on ebay, there are several venders, one has the kits (M&F) for about $5-6 and another has them made up with wire leads for about twice that. There's also a website that sells the components to make them yourself called WireCare. I ordered some from the seller on ebay 'prowireusa' and will let you as soon as they come in. He's got he best prices on the unassembled parts.

I'm just curious, does the boost harness cause your boost gauge to read inaccurately? I would think if it's fooling the ecm into thinking there's boost when there is none, that it would throw the gauge of by that much.

your boost gauge reads from your intake manifold, so you will see actual pressure.

Yours may be different, but mine reads from the ECM which reads from the sensor in the manifold. The only way I can it not affecting your gauge is if you have a dedicated sensor/gauge.

If you used a mechanical gauge you can get real readings. Other wise it will throw your gauge off. Mine always reads 31.8, its as high as my boost sensor will read

Does any one know what the part number for the AMP style connector on the MXS and up engines is? It's the flat style no the triangle deutsch type. Thanks.

Do you know for sure what type it is, AMP or delphi etc? I know GM uses the weatherpack and FL uses weatherpack and metripack (all delphi). Lookup a website for Ballenger Motorsports, they have about every style you can think of.

I just got my Deutsch connecters in I ordered from the guy on ebay, prowireusa, so I can recommend them now for the Deutsch style kits. Cheapest I think you'll find and you get the gold pins and a few extras to boot. I hope to get to make my fuel harness tomorrow. I wish someone had the specs on the temp sender though. I'd love to put a gauge on it so I can monitor my fuel temps, esp. after I add a cooler later.
