Sorry, I miss read your thread, thought you had a 3406e. No check valve. Do you have any white smoke when its running. I had a customer with an old farm truck that he pulled out after sitting and it ran rough with white smoke. I thought the timing had slipped, checked it and it was ok. Check his fuel and it had that dead smell. Ran the engine out of a bucket of fresh fuel straight in to the transfer pump and it cleared up. Drained the tanks and fill with fresh diesel and problem was gone. Fuel was bad from sitting in the hot sun to long.

 

Guatemala and Brazil, but pure lower region Mayan (Laconden I think, but not all that sure). Yep, smilie freak, but we drifted yet again (let the beatings commence!!)

 

Thats usually how it happens....and also makes it so much fun...

 

i read somewhere that the new low sulphur diesel only has a shelf life of 90 days and anytime you let the truck sit for a period of time you need an additive
