Oh I get the benefit of them. I I just can't do it. I know a lot of what I post sounds one way or the other. But I'm 100 percent non judgey or snooty. There's a couple on here that can vouche. That im really chill dude. And wish nothing but the best for every one.
The way I see it. It's your life you live it. Don't mess with me when my wife's around ill probably just laugh with ya or at cha.
So good luck in what ever you decideUser666 Thanks this. -
Don't forget to run it at a lower pressure for better traction, and you can REALLY hold your speed on off ramps.

Me either and I hope my post didn't come off as such. It's just your post about retreads was timely because I used to share your sentiments about them but recently I've been been getting some good feedback on "today's" retreads and I'm considering changing my previous stance of NEVER running them no matter what.feldsforever Thanks this.

Just as long as you're not a bus (I think?)User666 Thanks this.

You can't run them on a class 8 tractor either if you plan to put over 9840lbs on the steer axle.

Regrooving is cutting the tread grooves deeper for more tread depth. Recapping is bonding a new tread cap to the casing.User666 Thanks this.

So technically a recap CAN be ran on a steer axle of a class 8 tractor. I still wouldn't do it though unless it was on my cracked wheel.feldsforever Thanks this.
