That sounds like the same brand I was speaking of price is different but it might have just been the distributor I was working with as well.

Alright, how about this serial? 5EK82590 That's the number according to the ECM on the truck.

I got the ECM read with CAT Electronic Technician and according to the readout the engine serial is actually 5EK82590. Supposedly, it has 475hp@2100rpm and 1750lb torque@1200rpm.
The previously mentioned serial (5EK71431) was taken from the valve cover. So now I don't know if the ECM is really for this engine or not and/or the valve cover belongs to the engine or not. I've scoured the block and cannot find any other data plates or stamps in the casting anywhere.
What can you guys tell me about the new serial, 5EK82590? -
