I tried to pull up an ECM download for the unit to check the flash file as it had some warranty work done in 2011 but it looks like the dealer did not upload one. Truck looks like it was in Tampa for awhile

Ok I have another 5ek number if someone would look up the info. Supposed to be a 475 hp. Just wanting to make sure that’s correct. SN is 5ek23683.

I think you need a 70 pin engine to easily install it as the 40s do not have the capability to run the datalink gauges. Kustom truck harness might make an adapter/ecm combo to run the datalink gauges on a 40 pin ecm.

Yes a 70 pin would definitely be the best bet. I’ve found a 2ws I’ve been looking at, but it’s a little more money. Supposed to be a 475hp. The sn they have listed is 2ws173. Does that sound right? Seems like it isn’t enough numbers.
