You will obviously have to go through Cat, but with an engine that is not in the truck I wonder if it can be obtained based upon VIN.

I got one through my local Pete dealer about 4 months ago. Gave parts man ESN and free of charge had new sticker in three days. Went to get another one about a month ago and Cat wanted an ECM download in order to verify ESN. Not a fan of Cat connecting to ECM, so just printed performance spec with build date and put in trucks binder. You just have to be able to prove it is Pre 2000 motor, doesn't state how.

Like spsauerland said replacement labels require a PDF ecm download to be attached to verify the serial number and current flash file.

Basically they don't wanna give you an EPA sticker for your 2WS that might possibly have a 7CZ flash in it...
