that's why I I've been using Fleet One lately and Comdata was not used. That's how I caught the $9.99. I did not use it for over a month and $29.99 brought my attention, I was expecting $15. but instead I saw $20 service charge, increased by $5.00 and 9.99 tire discount.
CAUTION! Can't believe Comdata fuel card pulled this off on me!

I booked a Load with CR England last month. This month I get an e-mail offering Me their tire discount program, along with factoring services. Lol. I stay away from all these schemes. Buy fuel at independent Stations, mostly. Occasionally 50 or 60 gallons for a shower coupon if I need fuel, or it’s not cost efficient, just pay for one. Once a week on Sunday, whether I need one or not. Lol
TallJoe Thanks this. -
OK. I need to give credit when it is due and conclude this thread.
Comdata representative called me today, and said that they understood my being upset and reversed the charges all the way back. Which in my view, was admitting that I was right.
I said, that the call itself was more important to me than the amount money that they were going to refund me now. I also changed my decision and decided to keep the card for now, as I find it useful sometimes. At the same time, I expressed my hopes that such practices will not occur again in future.Opendeckin, speedyk, xsetra and 4 others Thank this. -

Glad they worked it out.
These Negative Option clauses for subscription trials, or Evergreen contracts, or Auto Renewals have detailed rules/laws these companies must follow. If you ever have something like this happen again, call your state's Attorney Generals office, or Better Business bureau, etc... failing to opt out is a scam maneuver that low-life companies use. Amazon Prime is one of those companies that make it hard to understand how to opt out after the trial period.
I beat them at their own game, I subscribe, keep detailed records, get the discount, set an appointment in my phone a few days before my trial period ends, then opt out. I've done it several times and I get lots of satisfaction (and discounts) from it.Gearjammin' Penguin and TallJoe Thank this.
