SWR at that point was 11.5 or something like that.

That should tell you there's something seriously wrong most likely with the truck itself

SWR is 1.3 at 27.285 and Rx and Tx are good. The only thing that doesn't add up is reactance.

I'm going to get a manual antenna tuner and see how it affects the numbers.

well when i 1st got my 955 a few yrs ago i thought it was considered a big radio..The cost was big compared to a $79 cobra so i wanted to protect my investment..I wanna get everything as close to perfect as i can..Hence the analyzers..

what has been accomplished since you bought those analyzers ??? you want to use them as wheel chalks ??? your setup you should be at a 1:1 or a 1:0 flat... the rest is just a bunch of fluff and numbers !!!

My swr is not so much an issue..Range,impedence,ground plane seem to be my issues at hand..Once i figure all them out,ill be much happier and able to move on to something else to fix or make better..Remember..I have been truckin sence 95 but only really learning about the cb and ant for the last yr..Problem is so many thoughts and opinions on what works and doesnt and as a cb nebie sorta speak i either try them or do nothin..So not being able to go to anyone to learn from i do it by reading and videos and trial/error..Yes i get fustraited and loose it for a minute or a day but i come back with even more passion to get it right..
Wheels chalks..Nawww thats just me venting without thinking..

I personally think that a manual tuner like that is a band aid,not a fix..
