Cb antenna for dummys!!!

the crapcadia is a seriously ducked up truck more than most people realize.. especially when it comes to ground issues. it's a total p.o.s. the only good thing about that truck is the 72" bunk lots of room. other than that the trk. is a total turd. ..

Wrong ... sort of.

You won't see 50 ohms resistance or should see it.

The x is not really accurate measurement, because to complete the antenna thing, you have to take in account three components of the system, Xr Xc and X L.

I know I'm not explaining it well, stupid cold, but if your X<0 then you have inductive reactance, X>0 you have capacitive reactance and if X=0 you have then the impeadence is resistive.

Can't experiment until you understand that stuff. Until then it is easier to buy a tuner to cancel out the reactance.
