    It may throw off directionality sitting still a lil but most times your driveing when useing the radio....The whip will tend to sit up much straighter at highway speed...
    In a cpl of my vids(same name)on youtube i show 2 ant sitting still and driveing..So basically you should be tuning the ant as if you were driveing..
    @that time i was greener with all this than i am now but im gettin better at it..

    Bottom line is with antenna say at 45 degree sitting still will likely have a different results than driveing when moveing....
    When moveing the antenna actually bends giveing it a different length there by changeing its tune..Thats assumeing i understood something i googled many moons ago correctly...

    Also when driveing its gonna constantly chage things to a degree re earth grounding static build up ect...
    To help with some bearing static in my last two cascadias i ended up throwing in about 2 ounces of graphite in front wheel brg oil...I show that in one of my you tube vids as well..

    The 15ft 50 ohm jumper trick works, I've used it to tune a friends Co-Phased system. You tune each antenna individually with the 15ft jumper, then hookup the Co-Phasing harness to both antennas and you'll have a working system with a VSWR that is close to the reading you had from each antenna..

    If we go by you only need enough to reach then 15 ft would change the readings from what the 75 ohm coax would be..
    Same with the deal where people say its 18ft..
    So how did you come up with 15ft piece rule..
    Based on the spped of light and vf and so on you dont need even 15ft..
    I have never tried tuning a cophased system so i can only assume once hooked up you see where your to on an analyzer(all else being equal with rf gnd,proper connections ect)..With todays style of ant you could just tune with the tip of the adjustable tips on antenna and chk measurements and eliminateing the seperate coax..
    I would rather tune with the installed coax vs a seperate..Two different coaxs can make for a big issue with tuning..
    Naw for me i would do the install,see what readings are with the coax im useing and just go back and forth on each ant until noth show an acceptable tune of the user..Chances are it will be a longer process but thats how i would do it..

    A buddy of mine that had a CB Shop told me about the jumper trick. I think the most important part of the trick is not the length of coax, but that you tune each antenna individually without the phasing harness. Once an antenna is resonant, you can feed it with a single coax, or a co-phase system with a second resonant antenna.

    Antenna phasing has to do with obtaining a desired radiation pattern, not antenna resonance.

    True re phaseing but still it needs to match either 50 or 75 ohm..
    As i said i have never tuned a co phased set up so i cant say for sure,im more or less fishing in the dark here but if an impedences is off so is the match..
    Im sure someone with more know how will pipe in on this but im kida guessing with the lil i know..
