Company I worked for deducted escrow as well… than they gave me my escrow back…. It’s for them to have leverage in case you do something stupid…. Not the end of the world….post some proof how they take money from drivers. Are they steeling? Do you have balls to stand up for yourself?

 

My feelings aren’t hurt at all….im not the one crying about a Chicago company. I worked as a driver for a Chicagoland company and never had thoughts about looking for another company. Pay was great, I could take off 3 month at a time if I wanted to, bonuses were great as well.
Also escrow is a great way to hold drivers accountable …. We had a driver that was acting stupid in Washington (2000 miles away from home terminal) pretending she didn’t know where a 2’ hole in the dry van trailer came from and why shiper won’t load her… taking escrow away from her would teach her a lesson real quick about being responsible and reporting damage that was done by a receiver so company could make insurance claim….

 

Well, I've got questions....
You never worked there and would never work for them, so how did you get this info? Don't tell me you got this info from google reviews.
Did you call them out of boredom just to harass them?
Where did you get the escrow information from? Website? Another driver?
Did they, or another driver, tell you that they can't afford truck insurance so that's what the escrow is for?
