CB fuse

Discussion in 'CB Radio Forum' started by zany_steverino, Sep 8, 2017.

  1. i recently installed a new CB radio in my Kenworth T 680. It worked fine then it wouldn't even come on at all. I suspected the little glass fuse in the power cord and changed it. It still would not power on. I reinstalled my old CB radio and it would not work either.

Any suggestions? Did a fuse blow in the fuse panel? Where would it be?

    Check your fuse panel

  4. I just fixed it. Read an old post on this forum. It's a 10 amp fuse labeled R7

My CB won't power on as well. Maybe the same problem as yours?

I think I would check with your CB's manufacturer. Ninety-five percent of the CBs that I have owned were five (5) amp.

  7. I would check the manual and see where your CB fuse is located
