I gave my own self a handle and it is "LOOSE CHANGE "because I am married and have 6 kids ,enough said.

 

I remember the album The Last Puff

 

Kentucky Reject. My papaw, my father's father, was my best friend growing up. He drove for Interstate, not the same company that is driving green trucks today, for 43 years and that was his handle. He passed in 1997 and when I got my CDL, I assumed his handle.

 

Hahaha!!! My uncle says that line all the time. Good times.

Hollywood. When I was a green horn, the old guys told me you can't name yourself. An old hand has to name you. They said I didn't look like a truck driver, that I should be in Hollywood. I'm sure they were messing with me but the name stuck. I've been Hollywood for 23 years or so.

Laid Back. Ex daddy in law named me when we were running team back in 96. Kinda reflects my personality.

 

Minuteman... A yard dog gave it to me when I was working gate security at Peytons in Portland TN. Every time he'd come by with another trailer, he'd radio the info to me. I was new and would get frustrated and always tell him "just a minute man"... Thus I became Minuteman.

My screen name here is based on my goals after trucking, fixed wing aviation.

 

Lucky Duck

My girlfriend had an early shift the next morning, and she wanted to sleep in to which I smiled and told her I had the day off. I could tell this isn't what she wanted to hear, but she said you lucky duck!. She realized how lucky I can get sometimes, so she started calling me that because of all the times I have been able to dig myself out of a hole.
