My screen name here (and on almost every other board I'm on) is too obscure...I just use "big John".

 :)) I think ya just got a handle T.B.!! Illustrates the point.... There are ALOT of smarta--ses in big rigs. (myself included) Good luck on the decision. My handle of "Ghost" sounds aggrandizing considering my background, but is honestly cause I tend to be quiet, and walks softly...... All thru life, I'd enter a room unnoticed, and scare the bejesus out of folks. They'd scream, jump and say "Daggomit! I thought you were a GHOST!!!"
Is pretty individual WHY one chooses whatever, but the kidding's good natured.

I kinda got my CB Handle back when I was 21. I was playing pool a a neighborhood bar. Understand though... I have only one arm(my left one) that works. I wasn't great but could hold my own. As the people got use to me playing with one arm, the locals started calling me the "One Arm Bandit" and that nickname kinda stuck. Over the years, people shortened it to just "Bandit". It's a bit redneck but hey, so am I!!!!!

at one company i worked at, i was the "official handle namer" for any new driver that didn't already have a handle. i would talk with them about any subject, then BAM... i had thier name. sorta like they do in the "Top Gun movie" we all watched several years ago with Tom Cruise. one guy who never had a handle was ready to leave the resturant table, and i said, "where ya going Hot Shot"...........BAM..........a handle was born, and stuck like glue........

so, be careful how and when you talk to people, lest they name you something you don't like.........

I've been driving a pilot truck for the last few months and I go by Flight-Medic, kinda offshoot of pilot driver and my old job (paramedic)

My handle is SpongeBob, because I am a spongy guy named Bob.

It can be that simple and pathetic all at once.
I personally think thunderbutt is cool, reminds me of the guy I crossed paths with whose handle was Porch-M**key (and yes, he was african american). You could go with Gas Master too, it's all up to you!
