CB linear Amp

That's the one I have in my van, but I see that DNJRadio no longer carries them. The nearest one they have in their inventory is the KL200P. I've put details in the PM I answered to you.

I have the KL 300 in the pick up. We modified (the tech did it and I supervised) the switches on mine. I forget exactly how it came, but now I flip it one way and have just the output power, the other way is output plus pre amp. I think it came switched one way output power w/pre-amp, switch the other way just preamp. I hardly ever use pre amp, so we changed it.

 

Hello out in cb land have great question for you all. Im running a cobra29 lx lcd radio should i runn a 200 watt pill with it im not getting out to far im running a 1972 stainless wipe on a ballmount my match is 1.2 so it good doyou think i should runn it?

The easiest solution is an RM ITALY KL-203 for about $75 shipped off eBay.

I’ve run that plus radio and amplified speaker off company fleet 15A binding posts. Same spliced power leads.

The little amp is fused 12A. I saw 75w Forward and a couple watts Reflected with a decent co-phase 7’ Skipshooter antenna install on a Freightliner condo.

A West Mountain Radio ClearSpeaker is the other part of the equation. Clear out the noise with digital signal processing.

I think someone lied to you about what you have. Based on that information alone I probably wouldn't even use it unless I could see what it looks like on a scope.
