    I know how radio works. I also know a 102" whip ain't practical or even feasible on most trucks. You are the one that doesn't seem to grasp this concept. Why you insist on continually bringing stuff like this up when it isn't really relevant is beyond me. Are you familiar with OCD??? None of you ham guys really offer anything useful to the truck driver on here. I've noticed who has been the most help lately to problems with radios and issues related to CB in trucks......and it ain't been you or your ham BUTTies! If fact it is pretty obvious you don't have clue! I don't need to even prove it, just go back and read the posts.

    Would one of the know it alls please point me to a single antenna setup that will talk around a trailer and receive around a trailer that is made mostly of steel. Remember this antenna has to beable to go down the road without worries of smacking over passes, low flying aircraft etc not to mention put up with the stresses of dealing with constant 65+ mph winds.
