Dude, not trying to yank your chain but there are things that may be going on that you either can't describe or don't know about - WHICH IS ALRIGHT.

The static can come from different places, the thing is the static can be noise, not static. In your case, I think there is a lot of noise coming from inside the truck.

Noise comes from all kinds of sources, mostly I have found that cheap inverters, phone and laptop chargers, and even some gaming systems all produce noise.

As for the controls of the radio, this is why I said the 29 is best. The control is easy to understand and use but like I said, there maybe a lot of noise coming from inside the truck and it will take a little time to sort out.

check the inverter air flow. if the fan area is clogged with lint and crap, it will overheat.

From everything I have looked at it looks clear. The company said that I didn’t hook up my ground wire because there’s three wires that come out of the floor of the truck but there’s nowhere for me to put that third wire. I don’t know if that’s why it’s causing it to smoke up the truck and light up like it’s burning when I start using my air fryer. All I do know is it shouldn’t be doing that because it’s a 3000W inverter and I’m not even running 2000W of appliances so yeah.
I do know they seem not to care. Tell me not to use my air fryer. Well, guess what? I just say ok. I’m still going to use my air fryer because that’s how I cook the majority of my food.

That's going to start a fire if you don't get it figured out, and that's no joke. Is the inverter 3000W continuous, or peak wattage? Usually inverters are advertised in "peak" power meaning they can only supply that much wattage for a short time. If that's the case, then your continuous power is likely somewhere around half that, about 1500W, which is why it's melting down.

    Numb and Brianjr323 Thank this.

They do but the readings are usually different and less accurate then when using an external SWR meter.
