CB shop black list.

He hates Mark S. with a passion because Mark S. does not recommend Stinger boards or Channel kits to be added to an FCC type accepted CB radio. Mark Rutherford AKA CB kid has spent the last 10 years or so developing Channel kits and Stinger boards for commercial sale so he has a personal Grudge against Mark S. who is trying to save people money by talking them into purchasing a 10m export radio that already has all the bells and whistles instead of dumping $600 into a Uniden Bearcat with a stinger board and channel kit. Getting the most value for the dollar spent puts Mark Rutherford out of business.

 

Well cant blame a fella wanting to get paid for his developement/sales of his product BUT at the same time who wants to spend a boatload on a radio not designed to do what an already designed radio does..
Do i buy shorts and come winter time sew on legs to keep me warm or just buy pants....Think ill just buy pants for less..

 

Russ would do channel kits because people wanted them and they worked good enough to satisfy most. But he too would suggest just getting a 10 meter radio to begin with. And an amplifier instead of all the tricks/hacks used to get a watt or two more out of a radio. I've got one Cobra 25 w/lower channel kit left in my inventory, unless I've overlooked something.... I think it also has a 2SC1969 final and driver in it too.......it's a keeper!

 

Someone should start a Blacklist of potential problem customers like 440 Black Smoke. He blew up his radio and blamed the guy he bought it from. Radio was repaired for free the first time last year, then he blew it up again last month by shorting out the SO239 on the positive post of his power supply. Fails to accept responsibility for his own mistakes and shifts the blame onto someone else. Sociopaths are the worst customers and a huge liability.

Hate to be the guy that brings up old threads from the dead,but a shop that I thought was credible has now been blacklisted.Atlantic Coast Communication in Wytheville,Va.

Took my radio in about a year ago to have it peaked and tuned.Had doughts it was done right,so I brought it over to Ray's to put on the bench sure enough it was over modulated.

Rays did it right,and added talkback on a switch,now my receive is 10× better.

Well kid..1st yer not much of a man when you cant even speak in your own voice..
2nd his de solder tool wasnt being forced,it was being steadied...Jesus man your really trying hard...
3rd he wasnt pulling anything out,he was cutting chassie for what ever reason...If those were plyers as you think they should be in a diesel mechanics tool box....You cant even make up a good lie for cryin out loud..

You effed up F T CB's work and your just tryin to save face..
Take your mistake like a man an own up to it and to add some credability grow balls and use your own voice..

 

It's called a hole punch. It's a lot cleaner than using a drill bit and leaving metal shavings all over the place.
