I have a Pete 579 and it has factory antenna mounts and coax, but the coax is cheap junk and it gives me a ton of static. I want to get the coax upgraded. Any recommendations of a good CB shop that can take care of it for me?

You need to list where you’re at, and the region/interstates you run. Then people will be able to chime in with recommendations.

I leave the truck in Springfield, MO when I go home. I typically run the mid-South and the eastern Midwest along I-70, I-64, I-40, I-65, I-75, and occasionally I-81 and I-77.

Hood's at exit 61 on I-44 just down from Springfield has a cb shop from what I understand. I live in that area too, but I've never used them myself. A couple people had good things to say.
