    mike5511,

You gotta get me connected with your guy. There is NO ONE in Ft. Smith that can work or a radio.

I'll give a favorable opinion to the CB shop located in the truck wash in East Tulsa at I-44 Exit 238. Recently bought a used Galaxy base from them at a good price and it rocks! They carry quite a few CBs and accessories and are nice folks. They've been in business at least 30 years.

    Thanks for the replies guys.

I was spoiled. Back in the '80's there was a guy in LR that did all of ABF's work. At the time he was one of only 2 guys in the state that had some sort of FCC Lic. to work on something (don't remember) BUT he could make a piece of crap radio really talk. I had a Connex 3300 with a TS 250 that could talk to a buddy in Eldorado with the right conditions of course, mobile to mobile. That is over 100 miles apart. The best part was that he didn't OVER do all the adjustments to where it was doing the MAX. His radios were actually "tuned" to best performance not MOST performance.

I was just in the CB shop in Strattanville, PA, right across from the old truckstop there. He seems to specialize in the top-end export radios. I even saw a few old Ranger AR-3500's on his repair shelves, waiting to be picked up.

The Movin On cb shop at exit 99 on I-75, Anna Ohio is also another good cb shop. He has been there for as long as I can remember...
